How and why you should link your IQOS device to your account

Linking your IQOS device to your account is so simple and takes just a few minutes, yet it allows you to enjoy a whole range of benefits. This short guide will explain exactly what you need to do to link your device and as an IQOS user, where to find the device ID you need to enter and exactly what benefits you will then enjoy.

I. Why you should register as an IQOS user

 

By registering as an adult IQOS user, you enjoy the following benefits:
- Access to customized support programs for use of the product such as the self-diagnosis tool.
- Access to exclusive information & promotions open to you, such as, for example, information about limited editions.
- If you need to make a claim under warranty to have your device repaired/replaced, you can ask for it to be delivered to an address of your choice – with our rapid replacement service, we will quickly replace your device mostly within 3 hour
- Access to the International Assistance Service for claims under warranty and support while travelling anywhere where IQOS is available.
- Access to the REFER program, through which you can refer IQOS to adult smokers friends and gain benefits for the both of you.


Depending where you buy your device, registration may not actually be necessary. If, for example, you buy online, registration will be automatic at the time of purchase. Instead, if you buy your device from an authorized IQOS Partner Store you may need to register manually.

 

II. A step-by-step guide on how to link your IQOS device

 

1. Register with at.iqos.com or 2. log in with your username if you are already registered.
3. Link your IQOS device.
4. Enter your IQOS device ID.

 

1. Register with at.iqos.com.

The first step before linking your device is to register yourself as an IQOS user so as to be able to access the private area. If you are already a registered user, move onto 2. Log in with your username if you are already registered.
1.    Head to at.iqos.com and click on the small person icon in the top right-hand corner or alternatively, access the area directly, by clicking here.
2.    Click on SIGN UP under NEW CUSTOMER SIGN UP.

3.    Enter your e-mail address and password and confirm the password. Don’t forget to check the Privacy Policy box and if you like, you can also tick the second box to receive information from us about special offers from time-to-time and make sure you get the most out of your IQOS experience. 

4.    Click on SUBMIT.
5.    Enter your contact details and a delivery address: don’t worry, you can always change this information later.

6.    Click on CONTINUE.
7.    You are now registered on iqos.com! 


Were you requested to upload your ID during the registration process? In this case you might need to wait several days for your age to be checked. Once your age has been successfully verified you will receive a welcome e-mail from the IQOS Team. 

The successful age verification is relevant if you wish to buy something in our Online Shop. Please note that you do not have to wait for the age verification process for linking your device.

 

2. Log in with your username if you are already registered.

1.    Head to at.iqos.com and click on the small person icon in the top right-hand corner or alternatively, access the area directly, by clicking here.

2.    Enter your e-mail address and password in the section LOGIN. If you have forgotten your password, click where you read: “Forgot password”. You will then receive an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password and restore access. If you can't see it in your inbox, please check the spam folder. 
3.    Click on LOGIN.

 

3. Link your IQOS device.

1.    Once you are logged-in/registered, you will need to head to the section MY IQOS DEVICES. This is accessible from the left-hand menu which appears after clicking on the small person icon in the top right-hand corner.

2.    Then click on ADD NEW DEVICE.

 

4. Enter your IQOS device ID

There are two ways you can enter your device ID:
1.    MANUALLY, by entering the device ID yourself:
enter the device ID (you can use the section IV. Where to find your IQOS device ID to find out where it is) into the designated field and click on ADD (HINZUFÜGEN).


2.    AUTOMATICALLY , by using your device camera to scan the code. To do so:
1. Click on the barcode icon.

2. Select your device to find out where the barcode is.

3. Close the pop-up window once you have found it.
4. Authorize the web page to use your device camera (if necessary).

5. Scan the product code.
6. Click on ADD.

 

III. Where to find your IQOS device ID

 

The IQOS device IDs are made up of a combination of 14 numbers and letters. Both the Holder and its Pocket Charger have their own serial code. You can either enter them separately or alternatively enter the Kit box serial code, thereby registering both items at once. Below are instructions on how to find the device IDs of each IQOS model:


IQOS Kit device ID - The device ID can be found on the bottom of your IQOS Kit box, together with the QR code. By using this code, you will register both your IQOS Holder and Pocket Charger at once. 
 

IQOS 3 DUO or IQOS 3 device ID
-   Holder ID: remove the Cap and at the back of the Holder, you will find both serial code and QR code.
-   Pocket Charger ID: remove the side door cover of the Pocket Charger to see it.
 

IQOS 3 MULTI device ID
In this model, the Pocket Charger and Holder are one and the same. It is a compact model that does not separate; hence the only device ID is that on the device. To see it, remove the Cap.
 

IQOS 2.4 PLUS device ID
-   Holder device ID: this can be found in the same place as the IQOS 3 DUO and IQOS 3, by removing the Cap.

-   Pocket Charger device ID: this can be found opposite the buttons and LED lights, on the outside.
